Must pass 3 examinations: Practical, Theory and State Law Written.
Successful completion of the required hours of instruction for the following in a licensed school of cosmetology
Barber - 1200 hours
Cosmetology - 1600 hours
Electrology - 600 hours
Esthetics - 600 hours
Instructor - 1000 hours or 2 years working experience
Manicurist - Esthetician - 600 hours
Manicurist - Pedicurist - 350 hours
Be at least 17 years old
