Please follow steps below to properly apply with Professional Credential Services
1. Complete Online Application. Click Here
- If you wish to reinstate a lapsed Delaware license by examination - Click Here
2. Submit the following eligibility documents to Professional Credential Services.
- Official High School Transcript - Must be an official English-language transcript sent directly from the high school. Please see Candidate Information Bulletin for further information.
- Official Cosmetology School Transcript - Must be an official professional school transcript which includes the school name, school instructor name & license number, and the school official's signature. Please see Candidate Information Bulletin for further information.
3. Theory Examination: An Authorization To Test (ATT) Letter will be e-mail within 2 business days of application approval.
4. Practical Examination: A Notification e-mail will be sent 10 business days prior to your approved examination date including the confirmed date, time, and location.
5. Score Information
- Theory Examination: An unofficial score report will be distrubuted on-site. An official score report will be mailed by PCS within 10 business days of the examination date.
- Practical Examination: An official score report will be mailed by PCS within 10 business days after the examination date.
6. License Information: Delaware Board of Cosmetology issues license to candidates who pass all required examinations.
