Step 1. Applicant submits completed forms, fees and supporting documentation to PCS.
Step 2. PCS forwards completed Board applications to the Massachusetts Board.
Step 3. Board reviews application and determines eligibility at a Board meeting. This process may take up to three (3) months.
Step 4. Board notifies PCS of approved applicants.
Step 5. PCS mails a Scheduling Form to approved applicants.
Step 6. Approved applicants completes and submits Scheduling Form to PCS.
Step 7. PCS will send admission material to approved applicants.
Step 8. Applicant takes examination at the assigned date and location.
Step 9. PCS mails examination results approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the examination.
Failing examinees receive re-scheduling information
Passing examinees will receive their license number and other licensure information
Step 10. The Board will post license numbers on their web site within 10 business days after passing score is mailed. Board will mail wallet licenses within 6 weeks after passing score is mailed.
